Vitamin B12 is a water soluble vitamin that is involved with the metabolism and helps the formation of red blood cells, brain and nerve development. Most of us get our daily vitamin B12 from our food such as meat, fish, eggs and dairy, but those who are vegetarian or vegan, or on certain medication such as proton pump inhibitors (such as omeprazole) may not get the amount of the vitamin they need to function at full capacity.
When our vitamin B12 levels run low, it can make us feel tired, have low energy levels, depression and memory difficulties and if this sounds like you, it is important to speak to your GP to ensure that it is properly investigated. Due to the complications that can be involved with vitamin B12 deficiencies, we do not “treat” anyone who is suspected of having low levels of B12 in their bodies, or those that are currently being treated as such by their GPs, but instead offer the opportunity to experience B12 injections as a supplement to your normal daily consumption.

A had been tested many times previously for her vitamin B12 levels by her GP who told her that her levels were not low enough to be treated on the NHS. After getting frustrated at feeling so rubbish and having increased her consumption of foods containing B12, she wanted to have B12 supplement injections to see if it helped.
Within a week of her first injection, A was feeling so much more awake and energised, and less like she was walking around like a zombie. She now religiously visits once every 4-6 weeks to have her injection and has told us that she now couldn’t imagine going back to how she was before.
We always prioritise our patients wellbeing, placing them at the centre of what we doing and working with them, not on them. We are a highly recommended clinic and have been awarded 5 stars by Trust Pilot in recognition of our dedication to patient care.
We never overpromise the outcome of a treatment, and if we do not feel that a treatment is in your best interests, we will always refer you to someone who can help based on your own individual circumstances.
